Up for auction is one extremely ugly 1966 Pontiac GTO. I would say it is so far gone it would take alot to restore. Very Very rusty. Trunk, floors, quarters, fenders, hood are pretty much gone. Windshield, back glass, passenger glass is broken. Hood hinges are frozen, so a good pic of the trim tag was not possible, but it is very intact, as is the vin plate. The frame is decent with no rust through anywhere. The original motor and trans is long gone. Now for a few good points. The car is in fact a real 242 GTO. with several cool options. First the car is an a/c car as well as power brakes. It has a cool accesory lighting option with map lights on the roof above your head as well as a trunk light. The interior ,although rough, is all there down to the original Pontiac lettered AM radio. The twelve bolt rear is still in it. Some of the chrome is salvageable but the bumpers are shot. The paint code is 5 B . The trim tag matches the VIN, and the VIN matches the title. The car has an open clear Florida title. The car is sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied other than this car rolled out Pontiac Michigan new as a real GTO, not a Lemans or Tempest. This is a no reserve auction so bid to your ability. Too many projects and hopefully this sale will help me with something else. The car does roll but will need to be towed or trailered to its new home. I have the equipment to help load. A $500 deposit is required within 24 hours from the winning bidder via Paypal.
