This is a 1975 280C that has had a retro-restoration and is immaculate. It has no rust, it was painted with German GlasUrit MB050 white, wet sanded down to 6000 paper and triple buffed. The vehicle has a completely new brake system (rotors, wheel cylinders, pads, master cylinder , wheel bearings) along with a new front end , to include tie rods, shocks, bushings and power steering actuator. The exhaust is completely new from the maniford back, the engine has had the top reworked. The alternator, air conditioner compressor and water pump are new. All the rubbers and seals in the doors and windows have been replaced. All exterior trim, bumpers and windsheild are new The sound system has been upgraded with a Alpine AM/FM control unit, Alpine 6 CD player, dual Alpine amplifiers for the front spaekers and a 200 watt Alpine amplifier for the rear speakers (the original radio is available). The interior is outstanding in Red MB TEX. The wheels are chrome plated later model rims (the original rims and hub caps are available) This is the finist example of a 280C that exists outside a museum. It has always been garaged. The mileage is not indicative of the automobile as it has been restored to near new condition. I am the second owner and have had the car since 1984. I restored the vehicle to it's present condition and have used it VERY little. I am planning on retiring and the vehicle is just not part of the plan.
