Law and Harris were up to their old tricks as car hawks and automotive speculators. The shenanigans took us 100 miles out of town to a desolate, hot, forsaken village. A family was liquidating the assets of one of their elder members. It was a slash and burn sale, everything must go. We were polite and charismatic and much to our surprise our offer was accepted. We drove this vintage mustang 100 miles in 100 degree temperatures, braved a traffic jam, and got sandwiches at the end of the road. What I have for you here is a chance at an original, un-restored, one family owned, ’65 drop top. The engine had been rebuilt at 50K and the receipts and records are extensive. The odometer is showing a scant 75K and the only changes have been the addition of an after-market original mustang tape deck and Glasspack dual exhaust. The original stereo was scoured up by yours truly in the garage full of goodies. This mustang is a handful. It’s a 3 speed, stick shift, manual steering, and manual brakes. You will not be buying this for your girlfriend unless she is tri-athlete strong. I scoured up an entire interior kit, including the boot, also the new carpet which is not shown but is present. I had all intention of restoring this to perfection, but I want a NEW mustang. I have bought over 200 cars and would put this as one of my top 5, for two reasons, no rust and very original. This car melts hearts wherever it goes. It’s a restoration that a father and son could complete. The floor boards are great. The trunk is great. The whole car is great. It starts up every time. All the lights work. It’s never failed me and always heeds my call. We will deliver this car to you with no disappointments. I’ve got great shippers. End of story.
