Hello everyone. I have been promising this one all week. I have been toying with the idea of keeping her but I think she needs a new home and someone that really loves her. I am a Dodge guy and I got this about 6 yrs ago. It has been in storage every winter covered and a battery tender to keep it charged. It was started every month through the winter and warmed up for atleast 20 minutes. Runs beautiful and is not even broke in yet with only 59.990 miles on the big ole 403 Olds motor.Needs an exhaust because it is the original one if you can believe that...Also the gasket around the shaker is gone but I never worried cuz she never saw rain. Beautiful white paint there is some checking on the front fender on drivers side. Never been wrecked and never even seen rain since I owned it. It was in storage for 20 years in a heated garage when I found it. The bird is Awesome with black,silver and red accents the interior is bright carmine red and almost mint. Needs the headliner fabric and could use a new carpet. No rips or tears under the seatcovers, back seat is perfect. There were a couple stupid cigarette burns on the console that I covered up with patches of Speed Racer and a real Trans Am race. There is a cassette player in there too to be period correct and a power booster in the little compartment under the radio. A little TLC and you have and Great classic car that is a OOAK now. As you can see I totally customized this baby as the Speed Racer Mach 5 after the movie came out in 2007.I like to be different and original, since there were No T-Tops it was perfect to do up. What a real head turner the kids go crazy when I go to car shows and stuff. We got the whole package, big ole 5's on the doors, Seat covers and floormats, Bumper stickers and License plate covers, Even the gloves and a Speed Racer helmet in the backseat. I go all out when I do things. The rims are completely custom factory wheels that I stripped and painted with Hi-Heat ceramic paint with the interior color match on the 5 fingers in Red instead of the regular silver that comes on all factory wheels. Every T/A guy asks how I did those. It took over 13 hours to do them !! This is a true survivor and has never been touched and is still georgeous and runs and drives like new. Tight steering, Newer tires with big "meats" in the back a new Master cylinder 2 years ago ,a new blower motor last year and Ice Cold air, I did notice that when you flip the switch to high it cuts off the fan but it works perfect on medium and low.
