Vehicle Detail
Excellent car, all records since 1996, beautiful paint, great driver. Beautiful condition and waxed with Zymol Vintage wax. Stored winters. The car has a limited-slip differential and M030 suspension. I can send on much more high-resolution pictures if you'd like and am available to talk by phone. I used this car to get into Porsche ownership (I came from an M3) and went with a fully-documented example rather than the cheapest example I could find (but wanted a driver, and did not want to pay a a concours premium). It was well worth it as major engine issues can set you back huge, as will not having the brake system flushed regularly. This car has a stack of mainenance records, and several shops (EPE in Boston, Joel Reiser in Rochester, GTek in Toronto) all know the car well. The car was fully inspected by GTek early last month. Next (oil change) service not due for another 3k miles. The wheels are 996 C2 rims with brand new tires installed on May 5, 2010, less than 500 miles. Save yourself the $600+ you'll spend on tires, mounting, and balancing. I have electronic invoices for work performed during my ownership, from June 2005 onward; the previous owner's most recent services: 11/24/04 (57,805 miles) - Mobil 1 oil change and oil filters replaced; completely flushed the brake system; replaced pollen filters. 8/25/04 (57,276 miles) - New brake rotors on all 4 wheels 11/18/03 (54,151 miles) - Complete engine refresh, 12 new Bosch plugs; Mobil 1 oil change and oil filters replaced; completely flushed the brake system; new engine compartment lid struts installed; bled the clutch; - total time spent working on the car was 44+ hours, $7138US. You will not need any major work, even plugs, until at least 75K miles. 11/26/02 (50,789 miles) - Mobil 1 oil change and oil filters replaced; completely flushed the brake system; new lower valve gasket 11/20/01 (46,505 miles) - 45K major service, including 12 new Bosch plugs & new fuel filter; Mobil 1 oil change and oil filters replaced; completely flushed the brake system; replaced pollen filters
