This 1968 Series I 1/2 XKE is a true coupe. It is not a 2+2. This is a fully matching number car. It has the desireable 4.2 liter engine and the syncho-mesh gearbox. It has the desireable rear end like the Series I XKE as well. The car does not have any rust in it. The two belly pans in the floor have been replaced and the passenger side outer sill has been replaced. The area where the spare tire goes is in nice dry condition and the same for the area where the bonnet hinges. The interior is missing the door panels and the carpets. Everything else is there. The engine turns freely, but I have not tried to start the car. It will need the fluids changing, i.e. fuel, oil, etc. It will probably need new spark plugs and wires as well.
