1995 BMW R-Series

I purchased this motorcycle in 2005 from its original owner with only 1224 original miles. I immediately had a major (dealer) service performed including 2 new tires. Since then I have ridden the bike an additional 2000 miles, for a grand total of 3200 miles. The machine runs just as an airhead Beemer should. This bike is the eighth BMW airhead that I have owned, and it is my favorite since the 1976 R90S that I purchased new. Included with the sale are all original documentation, books and keys, two seats (black & two-tone), tool kit, 5 quarts of BMW 20W50 motor oil (with filter) and BMW hard saddle bags. This particular 1995 R100R Classics is one of the last ten imported into the country, the final one having a VIN number ending in '280889'. The condition of the bike is excellent, but it does have some minor flaws that you would expect to find on a motorcycle that is 15 years old. The gas tank and body work are nearly flawless. There are a few areas of minor chrome 'pitting' and surface rust, most of which can probably be removed with the right cleanser and an enthusiastic polishing.
