As Paul Harvey would said and now for the rest of the storie Last month i needed to transport a broken airplane from California to Kentucky. after considering the cost and time of driving both ways, i started looking at trucks in Los Angles I ran across this super original 1971 Dodge 100 series, looked it over , checked it out , and bought it. Drove over to Hemit CA. 80 miles away, Loaded the airplane, and drove 2,300 miles in 5 days, used 1 qt. of oil, replaced one tire (at walmart) and the fuel pump at a cost of 25.00 that was in stock at the locally owned parts house along the way. 10 to 12 MPG. @ 65 mph. What a ride!!! Now for the real stuff!! 1971 Dodge 100 long bed. sold new in California Original CA.
