Vehicle Detail
Here I have for sale my beautiful 2003 H2 Hummer. It is in excellant condition and well maintained. I am 50yr. old guy and a diesel engine mechanic on an offshore oil repair rig so I know a little about proper maintenance. Before that I was a service manager and mechanic at an exotic auto dealership for 12 years. Let me tell you a little about my Hummer. I have owned it for a year and half and only driven it about 5k. My job takes me to China every other month and I own 5 cars so they get driven very little. I do know it has never seen a winter and also has not been off road. I kept it in a heated garage and drove one of my Jeeps when it rained or snowed. It is perfect and rust free underneath and the body is nearly perfect except for maybe a nearly invisible scratch or to that you can't see from a foot away. Im am very picky about all my vehicles and this one is included. One strong point that you will like is the engine has only 29k miles on it! About 6 months ago it developed an annoying tick while idling on initial start up that drove me crazy! The local GM garage told me it was normal. Not to me it wasn't. So I removed the valve covers thinking it was a valve sticking or something. Nothing. Then the intake. Still perfect everything including the camshaft and lifters. I was going to rebuild the whole thing then found a 2006 Hummer with 28k on it at a local salvage yard that had been hit in the rear. So I bought and installed it. Looks perfect and no one would ever be able to tell it has been replaced. I even put in a new radiator because I bent a few of the fins taking the old motor out. Also put in a new serpintine belt tensioner while I was at it. The front and rear air blows ice cold and the electronic dual zone climate control works great. Some of the options include, 20" chrome wheels with Nitto LT 325 M+S Tires (about 75%), heated mirrors, heated front and rear seats, auto leveling air suspension w/on board air compressor, chrome brush guard, door handles, hood vents, hood latches, tail light guards, running boards, bumper inserts, and luggage rack letters. Bose Cd /cassete combo and a hood light pod that cost me nearly $1000 dollars with paint that I just bought that I didn't even wire up yet! The only real reason Im selling is because I just found my dream house I want to buy and I need to trim my fleet of cars. Plus my wife is terrified to drive it because shes afraid to bump into something. Now for the not perfect(nothing is) the air bag light comes on periodically(why, neither me or the local GM garage and there 12k scanner knows for sure) and the sunroof works when it wants to as well. Im a mechanical not an electrical guy so im not sure whats up with it. Other then those 2 things the only things I can think of is the wheels have some pitting from brake dust(only noticeable from a few feet away) and there is a little light seat color wear on the drivers side. All in all it looks great and runs perfect. It looks as good as an 2006 or 2007 for a lot less. This truck is going to be for sale locally so I can end this auction at any time. Please don't bid if you can't afford this rig. My Ebay score is 100% and I want to keep it that way, so I'm trying to be entirely up front here and don't want the buyer to have any surprises. If you have additional questions you can call me @ 814-460-1899 or email @ ricky.wright@remedialoffshore.com Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
