Up for auction is an all original 1924 Ford Model T coupe. This is a museum quality car. Car starts, runs and drives nice. Idles smoothly with no smoking. Starts easily every time with electric starter. Engine compartment is clean, not all greasy. Radiator is in good shape.(See pictures) The body is rust free, with 3 small dings on the entire body. No patched in areas, zero bondo or filler and no flaking paint. Very nice wood spoke wheels with 2 new tires with the other 2 in fair conditions. All hold air with ho leaks. Glass is good with no chips or separation and they roll up and down nicely. And the quarter windows go up and down too. All wood is excellent. The steering wheel is nice with no cracks. Car has what appears to be the original uphostery. in average shape with a few mouse holes. The headliner and door panels are good. The dash is in nice shape and the guages work. Of course no speedometer, so the actual mileage is unknown. The underside is painted and clean. The inner fenderwells are clean & painted and not all full of crud. They really look nice. The trunk floor is outstanding with no rust. Overall I would give the body and undercarriage a 9 out of 10. This is an original car with possible original paint. I am not sure if they refer to this model as a 'doctors coupe'. If anyone knows which model this is, please email me. This car has no issues at all to my knowledge. It has a brand new 6 Volt battery.The reserve is below $8K which is a good price for a car in this condition. A non-refundable $2000 downpayment is due to paypal with in 24 hours of the end of the auction. The balance will not be accepted in to paypal and must be delivered via wire transfer to our bank account or cash in person within 7 days of the end of the auction. This car is currently kept in the garage and can be stored in the garage for 30 days to allow time for pickup or transporation. The buyer is responsible to arrange and pay for transportation or pick up.
