I Love My Ranger! (You will too) Ofered for your consideration is my 1997 FORd Ranger Side Step Truck. If you have been looking for a reasonable, great looking, useful truck, this is the one on ebay to consider!! Now, I am a vehicle cleaning machine, as you can hopefully tell by the pics of my truck. Overall a very good condition, well maintained machine. The paint is GREAT for a truck this age. (I like to wash and clean and wax) Someone told me this was a very strong engine in this year and model. I keep a 3,000 oil change schedule, jiffy lube or STS with ability to recall info on all their services. Equipped with manual transmission, A/C, Widow Guards, Front Bug Shield, Bedliner, Bed roll up cover, storage box, EXCELLENT alloy/custom wheels, tires I would say have 80% tread left, AM/FM single CD player, sliding rear windows, interior carpet (self installed), about 1 year old shocks, passed inspection 10/2010 - good til 10/2011, towing bumper ball, installed U Haul Hitch(I never towed using either, wires there needs hook up) PROS: Paint condition, wheels, bed liner/cover, hitches, great shape for a truck of this age!! CONS: Course, being a 1997, it does have a few "quirks", A/C and heater both work but temp mixer does not, two choices in either full on/full off, dome light has issues so bulb is out and I put in one of those sticker lights for night, slight damage on left front fender, some rust issues but minor, paint blemish under bug screen from off brand installed by pervious owner. I hope I did well in describing. Now to details, good starting price, Good condition so Kelly Blue book is ex $3310, Good $3035, Fair $2485, Dealer lot price would start around $4345. I set a reasonable reserve, and what I consider a GREAT buy it now price. Local pickup preferred, but will accomodate any pickup arrangements you make. No warrentee, but here's the best part: I bought this on ebay and just bought a 1971 Super Beetle (reason truck must go) so I know how difficult it is to buy off ebay, I am offering a refund upon inspection of my $500 immediate payment (minus my listing fees) if you do not like what you see when you come for the vehicle, but I know you will.
