Vehicle Detail
1969 Camaro This was my brothers car and has been sitting in my back yard for around 10 years on a concrete pad. He was the second owner. The original color was green but it was painted black back in the 70's It has not been moved or started for 10 years. About the car: It is the base model and has the original 307 motor. He apparently bored it out to 30 over and did some work to the heads. It has a 4 barrel (not factory) Carb. The pistons are aluminum with a 10/1 ratio. He said that there is 25,000 miles on the rebuilt motor. The transmission is not is not matching as it has a 400 turbo and original equipment was a 350 turbo. It has a shift kit in it and a 3000 stall speed converter. The rear end is a 10 bolt with either a 270 or 290 gear no poise. The interior is in good shape. Seats are in good condition and carpet is clean The interior is totally factory. The dash is rusted where the windshield meets it on the left front bottom corner. The dash pad is warped in places. The exterior has rust on every exterior panel. The floors, trunk floors, rockers, roof, cowl are all solid. The vinyl top is faded and curling up in back corners. This is a close to all factor car except the motor work, transmission and rear spoiler. Take it like your wife ...for better or worst. I tried to give you the best description I could. I'm selling her AS-IS. Any questions? Don't hesitate to contact me. On Jul-11-10 at 19:11:47 PDT, seller added the following information: ***UPDATE*** I Have had many people ask about exterior rust. The two fenders are in pretty good shape. they have rust in the rear bottom and a finger could put a hole in them,, The front of the fenders where they meet the valance have serfice rust only. The two doors are in good shape and are free of rust. The skins are still tight at the bottom where they weld to the frames. The quarters have pretty bad rust around the wheel wells and the bottom front of quarters have rust which you could put a finger through. The back bottom of quarters are solid. The trunk lid and hood have service rust only. On Jul-11-10 at 19:31:31 PDT, seller added the following information: Also, The front suspension needs ball joints and the like. I remember my brother saying that front end was loose and out of alinment. Doing the best I can to give you the most info I can about the car!
