Vehicle Detail

Being sold at NO RESERVE! A very rare FACTORY ORIGINAL 1967 442 with a HURST 4-Speed shifter. The car needs a complete cosmetic restoration, however mechanically the car is very sound. It features a extremely strong running Oldsmobile V-8 motor with less than 10000 miles on the rebuild (well over 300HP) Fresh 4-Speed transmission. New rear-end. The car runs and drives great and shifts smooth. Dual exhaust sound great. Power steering. Disc brakes. And still has the original louvered hood. Newer wheels with good tires. The car was repainted about 25+ years ago according to the previous owner who owned the car since 1988. (The fender 442 emblems were not put back on at that time - these are easily available) Previous owner was a mechanic and did most of the work himself. The body and paint have been neglected as you can see form the photos as has the interior. It does have some rust in the body. This car is NOT a rust bucket. The floors and frame are solid. The interior is all original and still features the original buckets. They will need to be recovered but are not broken down. Here is a RARE opportunity to purchase a true American muscle car at an affordable price that you could drive the car while you restore it as you like. Current NADA classic car value: LOW- $13,500 MEDEMIUM- $21,800 HIGH- $42,000 This car is sold AS-IS. Payment in full is due within 3-day, if you cannot do this please do not bid. I can assist with shipping if needed. I reserve the right to end this auction early. Please feel free to call me with any questions at 253-468-4328. Thanks and GOOD LUCK! On Jul-08-10 at 14:54:48 PDT, seller added the following information: Yes...the car and interior are blue not black. That was a misprint. The motor I would estimate is putting out closer to 400HP not 300, it is very fast and lots of fun to drive. Sorry for any confusion. Please don't hesitate to call me in person if you have any other question. Thanks,Rich
