You are bidding on a 1988 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. It has a 4.5 liter 8-cylinder engine with automatic transmission and front wheel drive. There are 75055 original miles. I have owned this car since January 2002 and have loved driving it. This has been a great car for us, thought about keeping it, but have retired and don't need the extra vehicle. Engine runs great. Transmission still shifts smoothly. Power seats, power locks, and power windows work. Tires were replaced in 2009 and have only been used for about one thousand miles. Four wheel alignment, new brakes on all wheels, rear brake lines, rear shocks were all done in 2009. Wire wheel covers still look good. (not bent or broken). A/C does not work and needs to be recharged. Vinyl roof is in good condition with no cracks. The paint is in good shape but has some surface scratches that I'm sure will rub out. I can find no rust on the body. My mechanic recommends reinforcing one spot on the lower member where he found some rust but could find no other problems. He said that this could be done by simply welding in a section of metal. I took the plates off the car about two weeks ago but you are welcome to arrange a time to come and inspect it on the premises prior to the auction closing.
