The car currently has 79,972 miles on it. It was removed from service in May 2010 as a part of our normal vehicle replacement cycle. The vehicle was serviced on a 120-day preventive maintenance schedule. It was last serviced in Mar 2010, at 78,746 miles. The tires have approximately 50-60% tread remaining and the vehicle runs well. The exterior is in good condition. The hood has a few minor rock chips present. There is an approximately 6-7” long light scratch on the top, driver’s side of the rear bumper. There are some minor dings present on the passenger side front door. There are approximately 2-3 minor scrapes, with some white paint transfer present on the passenger side front fender. The interior is in good condition. There are 3 small, rectangular switch holes present on the lower left side of the dash beneath the steering column. There are 2 small screw holes on the center of the dash, beneath the auxiliary power point. There are 2 small holes in the bottom cushion of the driver’s seat. Some repairs that have been completed on this vehicle include the following. In Mar 2010, at 78,746 miles, the right rear turn signal bulb was replaced again. Also in Mar 2010, at 78,669 miles, the right rear turn signal bulb was replaced. In Mar 2009, at 72,658 miles, the front tires were replaced. In Dec 2008, at 70,560 miles, the left front tire was repaired due to a slow leak being present. In Sep 2008, at 68,498 miles, the air conditioner required a ½-pound of R-134A Freon to be added. In July 2008, at 66,907 miles, the windshield washer hose was replaced. In May 2008, at 65,227 miles, the air conditioner was recharged with 2 lbs, 2 ounces of R-134A Freon. In Aug 2007, at 57,231 miles, the starter was replaced. In July 2009, at 56,163 miles, both rear tires were replaced. In May 2007, at 54,413 miles, the alternator was replaced. In Mar 2007, at 51,533 miles, the tires were rotated, the rear drums turned & the brake shoes replaced, the front brake pads & rotors were replaced, and the spark plugs were replaced. In Aug 2006, at 43,327 miles, the battery was replaced. In July 2006, at 42,581 miles, the tires were rotated. Also, in July 2006, at 42,104 miles, the blower motor was replaced. In June 2006, at 40,745 miles, the AM/FM antenna mount was replaced. In Aug 2005, at 30,770 miles, the tires were replaced. In Aug 2004, at 15,637 miles, the vehicle had a recall performed with the air filter element being replaced at the local Ford dealer. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process. We cannot accept “Buy It Now” offers or trades. High bidder is responsible for picking up the vehicle from Champaign, Illinois. High bidder is responsible for all shipping and transportation costs. Winning bidder confirm winning the auction by sending a Non Refundable $500 Money Order or Cashier’s Check within (3) days to serve as a deposit.
