Vehicle Detail
This is a no reserve aution which means that my car WILL SELL TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER! SERIOUS PEOPLE SHOULD CALL 631-357-2602. THANKS. INCLUDED IN THE SALE: Car comes with: Factory original used SS dash in nice condition (only dash) Nice driver quality black door panels,(I was intending on putting black stripes, black interior and black top hence the black door panels) stripe stencil kit, (I can arrange for my friend to do the stripes, he is excellent) brand new trunk mat and complete factory 1970 chevelle air conditioning set up includes absolutely everything except the dash controller. For those of you that know about small block and big block rag joints for 1970 chevelle's in the steering shaft near the steering box, for some reason this car has an SS or big block rag joint! A friend of mine showed me when he noticed it! I guess 400 malibu's came with that rag joint. 1970 Malibu 400 with a 1972 400 4 bolt main motor in it. Engine is stamped CKP and after researching it comes up 1972 400 small block 4 bolt main with auto trans. This is an SS tribute with everything on the outside SS cloned including cowl hood, rear bumper, like new SS wheels with new repro original Firestone oval tires (100 miles on them) and all emblems. I didn't put stripes on it because I was going to change the interior to black and put a black top on it so was going to do black stripes, as stated above, so I have the stensil kit for stripes. Paint is exceptional driver or very good show quality which was done 6 years ago with no bubbles, no rust and very very little wear, if any! The paint is nearly perfect! It's 'that' nice! Body lines are very very good and doors close beautifully. Pinch welds are still in door corners (pictured), half quarters were done when painted and fenders are all metal. The interior is nice driver quality with black carpet and dash (dash was painted a long time ago) I would personally change it but looks good now. Seats are nice but have small rips in very lower bottom corners near carpet, (pictured) door panels are nice driver quality, carpet is excellent, just about new. Trunk has been replaced long before I got it and 2 floors were replaced as well. They are very very solid and done nicely but not perfect. It runs and drives well with a very nice tone to the exhaust, they sound like flowmaster mufflers but not sure as it was done before I got it 5 years ago. There are no leaks under this car at this time, which is a shocker as they all leak something when they are used! All chrome is near perfect or perfect. Glass in front of speedometer is a bit foggy but again, I have that SS dash for it. Car has power steering and brakes, all drum brakes. Top is power and works fine. Top is in good driver condition with one small hole which is a little bigger then the size of your pinky fingernail (pictured). It's been in this condition since I have owned it and I haven't changed it. The original radio is still there but doesn't work. I am trying to think of anything else but will answer questions as they come in. Call if serious at 631-357-2602. I have seen the prices of these cars so please don't ask me to stop auction with some ridiculous offer but I will listen to legitimate offers! There are very few 1970 convertibles so I would only say...wait for the next one! Phone number is in auction so email offers are automatically dismissed as nonsense! Car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to stop the auction at anytime! Car is sold as is, where is! If your feedback is not good or low score then you MUST call to bid! I know that there are a lot of tirekickers, broksters, dreamers and just plain bored people out there. If you're one of those, then please harrass someone else! I do not except blocked phone numbers either. Payment is preferred cash in person, I know...in a perfect world, other then that a bank wire or a cashiers check which will need to clear, I will listen to old muscle car t-r-a-d-e-s as well. I strongly encourage anyone to come and see how nice the car is before purchasing...especially the paint! Thanks On Jul-11-10 at 15:39:46 PDT, seller added the following information: I just wanted to ad that of course my car will sell to the highest bidder but want you all to look at my feedback. Although I haven't sold many items in the past few years, I do have a 2150 feedback score with ZERO negative comments. I never had a bad transaction in selling all those items and I sold diamonds and gold, not easy to stay perfect selling diamonds and gold items! The only way is to be honest and that speaks for itself in the feedback, which you can search page after page! So, feel free to call me anytime with any questions or email me and good luck to the new owner! ThanksOn Jul-12-10 at 07:01:18 PDT, seller added the following information: I would like to add one more thing. If you have a 70 chevelle SS documented coupe only with a/c then I may be interested in making a deal. Also, possibly a 1969 camaro. I am sure I should have wrote this early in the auction but didn't really think about it then.
