Original 1929 all steel body. There was the usual lower body rust when the car was purchased. The entire body was stripped to bare metal, all rust was removed inside and out. Before rust removal the body was removed from the original chassis and completely disassembled. On the front cowl all thin spots were cut out with new metal welded in. The firewall was done in the same way. The fuel filler opening was cut out with new steel welded in. The lower tank was cut out and fuel gage removed. The lower door panels were cutout and 6" door skins installed using 3M body panel adhesive. The side and rear lower body was repaired by welding new metal inside thin areas to maintain the original body shape and strengthen the attachment pionts where the body connects to the subframe. All the body parts were cleaned, ospho treated, and epoxy primed before being repaired. A new subframe was built, treated, and epoxy primed and new maple wood installed. The body was reassembled with 3m seam sealer and attached to the subframe. A solid steel top was cut and welded with a continuous weld around the perimeter. The top was not rusted so it was installed as is. New roof support bows were made and installed . Top side maple runners were installed. No other wood was replaced. Original wood will be sent upon request for patterns.Original glass was saved to use as patterns. Misc. body hardware included. Windshield frame is in good usable condition with no glass.Body mounting holes fitted and pre drilled. Body will be bolted to the chassis for shipment. All loose parts will be packaged inside vehicle for shipment. The chassis is a Speedway model A frame (new) with 32' crossmember. Pull up speedway motors on line catalog for specifics on parts described. Four bar rear suspension installed. New vega steering box installed. Posie super slide front spring with super Bell I beam front axle. Spindles, bearings, rotors.calipers, pads all new from speedway motors. Many front suspension parts stainless steel, see pictures.Brakes plumbed with adjustable proportioning valve and risidual pressure valves installed. Differential is a 68' camaro 3.08.Differential was checked by a local chevy racing mechanic. It was sand blasted, etched. epoxy primed, and painted with chassis black enamel. All steel on frame and suspension parts were cleaned, ospho treated, epoxy primed, and painted with Martin Senour chassis black enamel. 2000 4.3 liter Chevy Vortec V6 [79,000 miles] new Edlebrock performer 4bbl intake. New HEI distributor. Original exhaust manifold. Trans housing only. New motor mounts. New "Wheel Vintique" powder coated wheels. 15x6 rear. 15x6 front. Stainless steel early ford center caps with V8 embossed emblem. Original model A seats, 2 front ,1 wide rear in good condition. Photos available on request. New steel rear floor panel included.
