Up for sale is my '98 Shadow. I've owned it for about 1 1/2 years now, and I don't ride it much anymore. It's clean, runs good, tires are fair, doesn't leak anything, and has plenty of power. I rode it from Texas to California Feb. 2009 (brrrrrrrr!) I have a low reserve on this one, so bid with confidence. I'm not going to ship this bike, so it's available for local pickup only. It is held in place by metal pegs on the cover which insert themselves into rubber grommets on the frame of the bike. The former owner told me he replaced the grommets in order to fix this problem, but evidently that was not sufficient. Again, the cover comes loose, but does not come off. I didn't think of this until someone asked me to ride it to their town, and then it came to mind. I don't want anyone to claim I tried to hide a problem with the bike. On the other hand, it is a used bike, not a new bike.
