Vehicle Detail
Nice Plymouth Satellite. I bought this Satellite in 2008 from a gentlemen that had built the motor and transmission and put lower rear quarters on the car and painted it approximately seven years before that. Was told when I bought the vehicle that the motor and transmission had around 5,000 miles on it I have put an additional 2,000 miles onto that. Motor and transmission runs very good. The only rust that I found on the car was on the passenger side under door on frame rail it is size of a half dollar. I completely dismantled the car underneath and water blasted, cleaned old undercoating off, completely rebuilt front end with bushings, brakes and drums, wheel cylinders, bearings. Everything on the rear of the car was disassembled and rebuilt with bushings, wheel cylinders, brakes and drums, differential, new u-joints. Car is mechanically sound. Gear ratio is 3:23 Motor is 383 with a Crane cam (have copy of cam card) Transmission 727 torque flight with Stahl torque converter and manual valve body Edelrbrack carburator and it has headers. Complete 2 1/4" exhaust system with GTX exhaust tips and Gibson mufflers installed in 2009 Keystone classic 14" wheels on car. MSD ignition. Re-chromed bumpers Everything under car is complete. Side glass is original Chrysler, windshied and back glass do not see Chrysler emblem on them. I have acquired a lot of extra parts that go with car including two 15" Keystone classic wheels with tires. I have new gaskets for front windshield and rear window old ones not bad but was going to remove glass to strip and replace with new ones. Everything on car works but it does not have original radio. Interior in very good shape except for one small place in driver seat and door panel on driver's side. I think this is original interior. Don't know how the quarter sections was put on but there is no cracking and the lines are straight. My next step was to strip the car and re-paint. Hood and trunk have been stripped. Paint is not bad but I did not like it. If you have the ability to strip and repaint this car you can do it very economically . My intention was to strip the car piece by piece and still drive it. I have too many other projects that is why I am going to sell the car. It's too nice just to leave sit and someone needs to have it and drive it. This is a re-listed item first time around I had a lot of inquires about reserve price. I'm gonna make it easy for you this time with a buy it now price. If you want to make an offer, please do. I have a lot more invested in car than the buy it now price. MOPAR guys you've probably noticed what is listed and what kind of prices they are asking. This is a very nice car at a reasonable price. But as I said in my first listing I will not give the car away. CALL (812) 664-0209 for additional information BUYER is responsible for SHIPPING
