A No Reserve Auction! I have to sell this bike so the highest bidder gets it! This is a real must see bike that gets looks everywhere, because you dont see the slingshot gsx-r much anymore and rarely in this condition! Please read below and see photos, any questions please ask! Up for sale is my 1988 Suzuki gsx-r 750. It runs perfect in every way. It shifts thru all 6 gears easily and smoothly with no issues. The motor is very strong just like it was when new and makes no unusual noises or valve chatter. As you can see it is in original condition, never been torn down or restored back, it is in the same condition it was back in 88, 22 years ago... The insides of the fairings and all around the motor and carbs are super clean (see pics), it was kept this way, not cleaned up to sell. So heres the history; My boss owned it for the last 17 years. He rode for several years and kept the maintenace up very well, babied the bike and cleaned it after each ride. I bought it 2 years ago and first thing I had the local Suzuki shop in town go thru the entire bike, they adjusted the valves, installed a dynojet stg 3 kit, yoshimura exaust, installed k&n filter pods, did a compression check on the motor, rebuilt the forks, and cleaned and synced the carbs. Also new chrome bar ends and new blue superbike grips. I have the reciepts to show all work done and cost and results from the compression test. I still have original filter box and all the parts to reinstall it if need be. Also have original manual for bike, as well as the black leather gas tank cover. Has 17,7xx miles, And of course the title is clear with no liens and ready to transfer. As you will see in the photos there are a few small details that will need to be repaired, and here is what and why. About a month ago I hit a small area of gravel coming out of a parking lot and laid over. I was furious, the bike was so perfect up until that point. It cracked the right side upper fairing by the mirror(about a 1inch piece broke but i still have mirror & bracket I just have to install it), cracked the windscreen, put a small scrape on the bumpout on the right side lower fairing, and scraped the yoshimura pipe some. The right side peg cracked but i ordered a new one and will install it before auction ends. I want to go ahead and replace these parts and make the bike look perfect again but I have no time because of my long hrs at work, my family, and my other bikes ( which I will have to sell before long too). So thats why I am selling, plus my wife has begged me to sell it because this was the one I laid over... So my loss is your gain! NO RESERVE! Highest Bidder Wins this Bike! I dont know how high the auction will get up to, i will consider all offers, but wont decide on one until last day of auction The correct milage is shown on the odometer in the picture, I listed it as 17,5xx but it is higher since I had ridden it a few times and didnt remember the exact. But to make things clear and so theres no issues with me and ebay, please see the picture of odometer for exact mileage, It is 17,8xx.
