The car currently has 84,076miles on it. It was removed from service in Jun 2010 as a part of our normal vehicle replacement cycle. The vehicle was serviced on a 120-day preventive maintenance schedule. The tires have approximately 50% tread remaining and the vehicle runs well. The exterior is in good condition. The front bumper has a few minor, small rock chips present. The hood also has some minor, small rock chips present. There appear to be approximately 4-5 minor, small rock chips present on the driver’s side front fender. There are 2-3 small door dings on the driver’s door. There are also 3-4 dings on the driver’s side rear door. There is 1 minor, small rock chip present on the trunk lid. There are 3-4 dings present on the passenger side rear door and passenger side front door. The interior is in good condition. There are 2 small screw holes on the center portion of the dash, to the lower right corner of the climate controls from were a mic holder was previously installed. There are also 3 cutouts for switches that were previously installed beneath the steering wheel on the lower portion of the driver’s side dash. Some repairs that have been completed on this vehicle include the following. In Feb 2010, at 82,756 miles, the wiper blades were replaced. In June 2009, at 79,933 miles, the front tires were replaced. In Oct 2008, at 71,390 miles, the windshield washer hose, rear brake drums, shoes, and wheel cylinders were replaced. In Sep 2008, at 70,143 miles, the battery was replaced and the cables cleaned. In Feb 2008, at 60,385 miles, the front brake rotors were replaced. In Dec 2006, at 41,948 miles, the right front rim was replaced and the vehicle alignment performed. In Mar 2006, at 32,745 miles, the driver’s side wiper arm was repaired and the wiper blades replaced. In Nov 2005, at 29,678 miles, the vehicle was repaired at a local auto body repair facility due to having minor accident damage on the left front corner of the vehicle. In Mar 2005, at 23,068 miles, the right rear tire was replaced. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process. We cannot accept “Buy It Now” offers or trades. High bidder is responsible for picking up the vehicle from Champaign, Illinois. High bidder is responsible for all shipping and transportation costs. Winning bidder confirm winning the auction by sending a Non Refundable $500 Money Order or Cashier’s Check within (3) days to serve as a deposit.
