Up for auction is this beautiful 1958 Chevy 31 Apache Fleetside pickup. This is the shortbed model that is rare and in high demand. This truck has been beautifully customized with a steel roll pan and flushed tailgate. It has all new rubber and glass, new custom interior, door panels, and headliner. The door panels, headliner, and bed cover all have a customized matching 'ZZ' pattern. It has modern guages located in the glove box for the race look. It rides on P235/75R15 Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires on modern wheels. The truck has it's original suspension and undercarriage which is rust-free. It has an older turquoise paint job that is very nice and shiny with minor scatches and a few nicks here and there. The motor is a High Performance 350 V8 with a turbo 350 transmission shifted by a B&M shifter. The motor has aluminum billet pulleys and brackets. It has a high capacity chrome oil pan, headers, new Holley double-pumper carburetor, and HEI mallory distributor with high capacity race wires. The brakes have recently been totally redone and are manual brakes all the way around and has manual steering. The rear end is a 10 bolt with what appears to be 4.10 gears. It runs like a bat out of hell! Very fast with the quick shift kit and a great sound with it's custom exhaust. The truck has a modern under dash air-conditioning system, and a custom CD-player and CB radio under the seat. The bed is wood with a carpet covering. The battery has been relocated to the bed. The rear license plate is vacuum operated with a switch to raise and lower. Makes for a cleaner look at the back of the truck.
