Up for auction is a 1967 Ford Mustang with a rebuilt 302, automatic transmission and loaded with options. This a very clean classic that was painted about 9 months ago, and turns heads all over town. She sports a new interior, lots of new parts, and is a great daily driver! This is a Nevada car, and she is ROCK SOLID. The body of the car is very straight, and has it's original sheet metal also. There is NO RUST issues with this car at all!! The nice thing is she has DISC brakes up front, and A/C that blows nice and cold. The car is a very solid Daily Driver, and she does have some blemishes here and there that I will cover. The best thing about the car is NO RESERVE!! VIN: 7R01C206719/ DATA INFO: 65A/ 2A/ 095/ 713/ 052/ O/ W INFO: The data tag is still on the car, and the numbers listed above are correct.. I believe this to be a very rare car, as it was a special order. If you decode the data tag most of it will not decode. I believe a Marti Report would decode the other #'s. ENGINE / TRANS: The engine is a freshly rebuilt 302, that was bored .030 over, and has around 10,000 miles on her since it was installed. The motor was done right, replacing everything with new parts, not recondition stuff. There was a mild cam installed also. The heads recieved hardened valve seats to handle unleaded gas also. The motor was built to stock specs and she runs great! The motor has a Weiand Aluminum intake, with a Edelbrock 600 cfm carb on her. The carb has and electric choke also. Of course the engine doesn't leak any fluids, no smoking no knocking but, she does have a power steering fluid leak, and I believe it's the return line but I'm not 100% sure.. The motor has a new fuel pump, water pump, new valve covers, and the best thing is she has A/C!! The transmission is a smooth shifting C4 automatic that works just fine. She was rebuilt about 3 years ago, and I don't see any signs leaks on her either. The rear end is a Ford 9", with 3:23 gears in there. INTERIOR/ EXTERIOR: The interior has lots of new parts in there. The carpet is in good shape, the door panels are new, arm rests are good too. The headliner is good with no rips or tears. The seats are new with no rips or tears, they were just reupholstered. The windows all roll up and down just fine, and the glass is in ok shape. The windshield and all the windows still have the Carlite markings on them. The dash bezel is in ok shape at best with a few pieces that have cracked and fell off. The dash pad is good, it's an aftermarket one that fits so-so.. but it's in very good shape.. The gauges all work just fine in the car. The lights all work on the car, blinkers work fine, but the horn does not work. The weather stripping is ok at best, as it could be changed. The radio is not hooked up, and is more for show, as the console has never been cut! The exterior was painted about 9 months ago and shows well. There are a few small chips and blemishes as she is a driver. The car has 3 brand new tires, and one that is in decent shape. The chrome overall is in good shape. With new front and rear bumpers. The body lines are very good all the way around the car, and the body is very solid. There are NO RUST issues at all.. the trunk is solid, the torque boxes are solid, the shock towers are solid, and the floor pans look fine also. INFO: The car is a very, very nice daily driver type car. The car is NOT perfect, but it’s 43 years old also. Please know this before bidding. On Jun-25-10 at 09:22:22 PDT, seller added the following information: I appreciate all the emails in regards to the car, let me add some more info about the car....The chrome rocker moldings under the doors are brand new, the car has a 9" rear end that I believe to have 3:23 gears in there. The car also has Power Disc Brakes up front and drum in the rear. The car was originally sold here in Las Vegas at Gaudin Ford in 1967, and I have paperwork to document that, so that means you get a true desert car with NO RUST!! Good Luck Bidding!!
