1965 chevelle malibu project car. I purchased this car running and assembled but wanted to redo it and I took it apart and started working on it. I put new floorboards and trunk in it but they need finished. I stopped working on it a couple of years ago when other projects and hobbies came up. The new floorboards and trunk have surface rust on them, the body is just sitting on the frame with a couple of bolts after I had the body on the rotisserie the other projects got in the way so I just set the body back on the frame for easier storage.I was working on installing a rust free trunk lip off of a California donor car. The trunk lip is a notorious place for rust on these cars. It has a 283 with a 5spd manual transmission which I think the guy I bought it from said came out of a mustang or S10 truck.It worked pretty good when I brought it home. There is a 10 bolt rearend under it now. I have all the parts I removed in storage. It is 55" from backing plate to backing plate and I would rebuilt it as it seems a little tight. If you do the buy it now I will include a rust free 1965 chevelle drivers side front fender. If you do the buy it now I will include a rust free 1965 chevelle trunk lid. If the auction goes for less than $2000 the fender, trunk lid, and 12 bolt rearend, are not included The buyer is responsible for pickup and loading of the car and parts.
