2002 AUDI A6 2.7T 6 Speed Manual Silver with Black Leather Interior Includes all possible options and even more aftermarket upgrades. Classy limousine with a sports car character. For sale is a beautiful 2002 Audi A6, fully loaded with all possible factory options. The car interior and exterior is in a excellent condition. All maintenance was done to service book guidelines. Engine is in great shape, even for the miles the car has. Oil was changed regularly every 3K miles, always with Mobil1 Full Synthetic. The reason I'm selling the car is, that recently the clutch went bad in it. It was examined by Audi mechanic, and he said that the clutch Release Bearing has failed. Brand new stock clutch kit is available online for under $300. The only reason I didn't fix it is that I can't find nobody around here where I live that will be able to fix it. The only place that can do it is Audi Dealership, that estimated the maintenance for $2700. There is just no way I can pay that much to fix a part that costs $300. I'm sure that somebody that knows how to fix it or have somebody that knows how to do it, can have the car up and running for under 800$. Car drives if You put in in gear and than start the engine. It will drive in the gear, but once You take it out from any gear there is no way to put other gear in until you turn the engine off. Also gears 3-4 feel like their are locked, but mechanic at the dealership said, that it is the broken Release Bearing blocking them. All in all, You will need a tow truck to get the car. Interior is in a wonderful shape. I owned that car for last 3 years (55K miles) and had no problems with it. I changed the oil regularly, changed brake pads twice every 20K miles, changed brake rotors about 4K miles ago for a Audi RS6 sport performance rotors. Got a new set of Dunlop Sport Signature tires 1K miles ago, so those are almost brand new. Car is equipped with APR Sport Performance ECU Upgrade Chip. The effects of that are amazing. The engine came up to life from stock 250 HP to stunning 318 HP !!! And the mileage stayed pretty much the same. It's the newest version, works with iPhone 3Gs and every iPhone and iPod on the market. You can control it from the stering wheel, by in-dash controls or from the iPod/iPhone itself. It's the most advanced interface available, the cost of the unit was over $300 plus the installation. Car comes with 2 sets of floor mats. Both genuine Audi - all weather rubber mats and stock carpet mats.
