BID NOW – NO RESERVE ***Bid with confidence because this truck will NOT be offered for sale locally so the auction will NOT be stopped for any reason whatsoever*** Custom 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 Lifted 4x4 4-Door Truck Huge 13” Lift with 22” Wheels & 37” Tires ***Over $25,000 invested*** § Make: Dodge § Model: Ram 1500 4x4 § Body Type: 4 Door Ext. Cab Pickup § Motor: V8 5.2L § Transmission: Automatic § Body Color: Black § Year: 1998 § Miles: 106,732 § Vehicle Identification Number ("VIN"): 3B7HF13Y4WG231822 § Notes: This vehicle is a lifted vehicle with drastically larger tires than normal and therefore has handling characteristics different than that of a normal vehicle. The added height of the vehicle makes it more prone to rollover and requires special care while cornering, averting obstacles, turning, and any other movement that could jeopardize the vehicles safety. These situations should be approached in a safe and slower than normal fashion. With this stated the Seller is not responsible for any harm, injury, or death due to any inappropriate use of the vehicle or if care is not used in approaching any of the circumstances explained above. § Title: Salvage § No Warranty: The Vehicle has NO expressed or implied, oral or written warranty what so ever. Any defects, damage, needed repair, faulty equipment, or any other form of internal or external problem related to the Vehicle are the sole responsibility of the Buyer. The Vehicle is sold “As is” in its current condition with the responsibility passing from the Seller to the Buyer. Condition: Used and Drivable but not recommended until the front dropped pitman arm (included) is installed and until it gets a front end alignment. Has new inspection sticker and new tags. This vehicle has always been more show than go and has spent 99% of its life on pavement. Title: It had a salvaged title when I bought it but before purchasing it I had the local Dodge dealer do a 150 point inspection and had their body shop check it for frame damage as well as flood damage. The truck checked out great and according to the reports it was filed salvage after it was stolen and recovered. The truck was practically stock when I bought it and had about 60,000 miles. All of the modifications listed below were added at 80,000 miles or later. The new suspension setup, wheels & tires, and fiberglass parts have less than 100 miles on them. Motor: 5.2 Liter V8 with Holley Throttle body, AEM throttle body spacer, AEM cold air intake, Dual electric radiator fans, Powermaster 200 amp alternator, MSD ignition kit, MSD/Accell coil pack, Performance Ignition wires and spark plug wires, High-flow headers, High flow y-pipe with performance catalytic converter, custom exhaust system, Hypertech power programmer and more. The check engine light has stayed on ever since the header back exhaust system was installed but the truck runs just fine and is actually more powerful than you would think given the huge wheels and tires. Axles: Corporate Rear axle with 4.56 off-road gears installed and Danna Front axle with 4.56 off-road gears installed. Suspension: (Not completely installed yet – needs rear leafs installed to level out the truck, dropped pitman arm installed, front end alignment done, and misc. parts adjusted and installed) 13” ALL suspension lift with NO body lift 10” Full Throttle Front Coil Springs with additional 3” Solid metal Fabtech spacer and limiting straps. Dual Fabtech front shock setup with Bilstein shocks and Extra Long adjustable track bar. Rear has 6” Skyjacker leaf springs with 4” block installed (Truck comes with 10” Full Throttle leafs worth $1800 that can be installed with a much smaller block to level the truck out) Rear Bilstein shocks are installed. Custom 4 point Dick Cepek front long arm system and N-Fab two point rear ladder/traction bars are installed and the front driveshaft was removed. Skyjacker Dropped Pitman Arm (Model # DA600) is included but not installed. Extended Length Stainless Brake Line kit and speed bleeders are included but not installed. Once the pitman arm is installed, the rest of the front suspension needs to be adjusted including the track bar and a front end alignment needs to be performed. The rear emergency brake cable also needs to be rerouted when the extended length brake cables are run so the Emergency brake light goes off. The Emergency Brake still functions, but the brake light and the ABS light are illuminated on the dash cluster. Exterior: Viper Ram Air style fiberglass hood, custom front billet grill, Street Scene fiberglass bumper cover with light pockets and 6” Hela Off Road lights installed (not wired yet), Street Scene Dual Signal mirrors, Andy’s Auto Sport fiberglass vented (Vent not cut out yet) front fenders, front and rear euro lights, LED brake lights, LED Rear turn signal lights, LED backup lights, euro LED third brake light, Chrome door handle covers, tinted windows, roll pan, hideaway receiver hitch, and billet fuel door. The front end fiberglass pieces need to be aligned to make them perfect and the hood latch needs to be adjusted. They also need to be painted but as far as the rest of the truck, it still looks really good. There are just a few very small dings in the body, light scratches, and spots where the paint is slightly peeling but overall the paint still looks really good (Pictures listed below note some of the small dents and peeling paint). The body panels overall on the truck are really smooth and the body looks great still (Some of the pictures I took are the body from the side to show how smooth the body panels are). The bed of the pickup needs to have rubberized bed coating re-applied to it because the sun exposure is causing the old layer to peel. Wheels and Tires: BRAND NEW 22” Chrome Wheels with 37” Nitto Tires (Just bought for $3500) With less than 100 miles on them. Interior: The rear seat was removed as well as the middle console for an amp/sub rack and none of which is included with the truck, both driver/passenger seats have 7” LCD screens, dash has flip out Pioneer DVD/Navigation unit (The touch screen doesn’t respond all the time but it still plays DVD’s and CD’s fine), Dual sun visor flip down screens, and a 15” LCD/DVD flip down and more (all of which is mounted but needs to be connected to the battery and whichever video source you want). All the interior door panels are lined with Accumat Sound Damping material to help quite the interior from the tires, exhaust, and exterior road noise. There is an Autometer triple gauge pod mounted on the Driver Side Pillar that contains 3 C2 Autometer gauges that are not connected. The factory gauge cluster has a Nu-Image White Face dash Cluster with chrome bezel kit, the dash is painted Silver but needs to be repainted. The seats have black and silver Coverking Seat covers installed. The door panels are all in good shape but the driver side accent panel (leather panel housing the switches) is loose and needs to be fixed. The headliner is in great shape, the carpet still looks good, the dash is the typical Dodge dash that is cracked in about 8 places despite how much Armor All was used. The electronic door locks are also not functioning however the electric windows work great. Notes: I have tried to list everything that I can possibly think of concerning the condition of the vehicle and anything that needs to be fixed or taken care of as well as all of the aftermarket upgrades. If I think of anything else during the auction I will list it below in another added section. This is however a project truck and may need other small odds and ends needed in addition to what was listed above in order to complete it. With that being said, this would be a really solid project truck that wouldn’t take much to get back on the road. This is a great truck overall but just needs some work done to it in order to complete it. The Truck overall is really solid and has been a great truck but I don’t have any time to finish it or even a place to store it once I got it all done. The main thing the truck needs done is the suspension finished, interior finished, and a new paint job. The Mileage may vary alittle before the end of the auction given how many people want to test drive it and look at it. ****Please DO NOT bid on the truck unless you are 100% sure that you are interested. **** There will be no refunds issued if the winning bidder changes his or her mind. Anyone interested in the truck is more than welcome to look at it before placing a bid. Just send me a message letting me know you’re interested and we can arrange a date and time to view it. If you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to let me know. Thanks so much for all of your time and interest! Payment: A $1000 deposit must be made within 24 hours of winning the Auction. The rest of the payment must be made within 3Days (72 hours). Personal checks will not be accepted however you can transfer money from your bank account via Paypal. I will hold the vehicle for up to 30 days while the buyer either arranges to pick it up or finds another means of getting the truck transferred into their possession. All freight costs and/or tailoring costs will be at the buyer’s expense and I will take no responsibility as to the vehicles care once it has left my possession. If anyone has any questions in the meantime, please feel free to ask. I really appreciate all the interest I've had in the truck and all the questions/messages I've received, everyone has been great! I'd also like to thank all the people that came by to look at and test drive the truck as well. Everyone was very polite in asking what times were better with me and I appreciated talking with each and everyone of you. If anything, with the comments of the people that viewed it in person I feel confident that the description matches the vehicle very well with all the great feedback I received. I've had lots of great offers but I still stand by my word and what was originally posted above in the fact that the auction still stands and that I won't be cancelling it early for any reason or accept any offers outside the auction. I hope that everyone can appreciate that and know that it's not that I don't appreciate the offers but that it is a public auction and therefore everyone must have the same chance and opportunity. Though many people have asked, I WILL NOT be releasing any information concerning what kind of offers I've received thus far. It's not fair to the privacy of the other bidders nor is it even really anybody elses business so please don't continue to ask. Thanks again and if anyone has any remaining questions, please feel free to let me know. Happy bidding everyone!
