1966 VW beetle. This is a rare survivor. The pearl white paint is 100% original. There have never been any repairs anywhere on the vehicle. This is an original California black plate car with very special Number Sequence---66! No rust anywhere! Including battery tray. Please check out the door jambs as they are a beautiful example of pure factory paint. Under the the engine lid and hood...clean! The bumpers are flawless. It has the original working Sapphire radio and original owners manual. The original tool kit is complete along with the original fiber board wiring cover and trunk mat. Since I have owned it, I always garage it. All glass is VW glass, including the windshield which is a rarity. Headliner is intact and dashboard looks new. I runs and drives excellent. Steering is tight and brakes are solid. It is still 6 volt. Fabulous red interior with matching vw red seatbelts. Red original floormats in great condition! The trunk latch looks brand new the cad plating shines as bright as 1966. Factory popouts. It is unknown if the odometer has turned over and little is known of the previous owner. However, the speedometer cable has never been off and has not been tampered with, so it is either 54748, or 154748. I just cannot verify the mileage. So we have some minor negatives. Yes she has some small bumps and dings here and there, but mostly a dented rear fender. It is unfortunate, but since it was never repaired.....the car is completely original! There is NO intrusion into the quarter panel...it is straight as an arrow. There is also a small dent in the lower drivers front fender. The old man must have started to become a bad driver, I guess. There is also an amount of sun burning to the headliner under the rear window. There is some wear to the drivers side carpet near the heater vent. The engine has apparently been rebuilt and runs like a clock. I am trying to disclose as much information as possible so there are no questions. This is truly a special car, and I will be sad to see it go. The license plate frames are not included and the parcel tray is not included.
