1998 Nissan 240sx with sr20det s-14 blacktop swap "CLEAN SWAP". no hack s**t. I am the third owner of this car. before that it belong to a friend for 5yrs, and before that it belonged to a old lady. The car has a custom 2 toned candy apple red/black paint job with ghost graphics. 3k spent in paint work. the paint job is over 8yrs old. so expect fading. the body is in great shape except the minor cracking of paint. The hood is cracked as you can see in the photo. I would recommend just replacing it. The body kit "Orgin" was molded to the car. Honestly still stunning for the age of paint. This is my project car. now when I say prodject car, i dont mean some high school hack job project car. I am a grown man with 10yrs turning wrenches on Nissans. If you have ANY questions just let me know. Now for the swap.. Black top s14 motor and trans. I disassembled the Motor as soon as it arrived. I replaced all the seals and installed a new water pump, Nismo Tstat, Cosmetic Head Gasket, and ARP headstuds. I also replaced the Intake timing Sprocket (new oem). the tranny I left alone. 1-2 gear sync is wearing. Not noticeable enough for me to pull out and replace. here is a list of the rest Greddy front mount intercooler/piping Greddy BOV ~sound so great~ HKS actuator s-15 spec R Turbo- this Turbo has less then 1000 miles on it, I spent 1grand for it. The tag on the motor when it arrived said 45Kilo on it, when I pulled it apart it was VERY clean. This Motor runs very Strong and pulls Very hard @12 psi set. I never had a boost controller. I am not boost happy. I built this car for daily driving, and its doing a great job at that. this is not my daily driver though, its my side car. Now I also have a other goodies for this car that are not installed like. New numbers matching Venom 550 cc injectors, Z32 MAF sensor. The cars ECU needs to be remapped in order to run this setup. That was my next step before I decided to sell the car. I also have other things like full A/C system setup. a New Orgin front bumper, and a few other misc things like Nissan oil filters and such. I run the car back and fourth from work (about 8miles) every other week to keep it up. I have put maybe 5k on it since I had it running. Me finishing the car has completly stopped about a year ago. I would have to say 12-15k has been put into it already. My loss of intrest is your gain. I am willing to work out shipping arangements, or come and pick it up and drive it home!
