This is a two owner car with the common story of sitting stored in a garage for many years. One of the kids in the neighborhood had grown up seeing the car sitting idle and neglected. When the couple decided to downsize and move to a retirement home, he got his chance. The car was repainted and given a full tune up and was once again made road worthy to cruise the boulevards in all of its glory. The paint on the car is finished in its gorgeous original color of Sultana White. The car is finished in a good driver quality paint job and is a few years old so it shows a few small flaws, but nothing major. Car is overall very solid and rust free. The underside of the rockers, quarters, fenders, and floor boards are solid as a rock, and the wheel wells look so clean, just the way a low mileage car should. All correct trim and emblems are present and in great shape. The chrome is all quite nice for being original and shines well with only a few expected dings and scuffs. All of the glass is original and the windshield is crack free! The car rides on four brand new 20" ADR Chrome wheels and brand new Falken tires and really give this classic cruiser a modern, custom look. You will get more attention than you can handle with this bling! The interior is all original and in very good condition. The original leather seats are still in great shape and are not dry or brittle. They show the expected ware lines and small cracks but have not rips or holes at all! Door panels, dash and all wood grain are also in excellent original condition. The carpet is all original and does not show any holes or serious damage but is a bit faded from the years. Headliner is in nice shape but also has a few small holes. The odometer currently shows only 81,800mi and functions correctly. I believe it to be correct judging by the overall condition of the interior and rest of the vehicle. Power windows and seat were just fully gone through and serviced and all new door and trunk rubbers were installed. Radio is currently not working, but I can hear the speakers pop when it turns on so it may just be an antenna issue. All gauges work correctly as well as the speedometer. The trunk interior is fully restored as well with a nice custom tire cover which covers the spare tire. Mechanically, this Lincoln runs GREAT! This car features the 430ci V8 and the 3-Speed Automatic Transmission. This car always starts right up and shifts so smooth it is difficult to feel the transition between gears. As I said before this car has just been gone through and had fluids drained, tuned up, belts and hoses checked, valve cover seals, battery replaced and the transmission and rear end serviced and resealed to make this car 100% roadworthy. Under the hood is very clean and been detailed and repainted to factory original condition. The car is also totally tight as a drum with no fluid leaks whatsoever. The car tracks straight and rides and drives just like a new Lincoln should! This car is a factory non-ac car meaning it was never equipped. It does have factory heat which has been bypassed. There is so much extra room under this hood that Vintage A/C and heat can easily be added if desired. The car includes two sets of keys, spare tire, and jacking equipment. All in all, this is one very cool Lincoln Continental. These 60's era Lincolns are becoming more and more collectible as the older ones disappear into collections, especially well maintained, super low mileage, cars like this.
