You are looking at a rare unmolested 1991 CRX SI that I have had for 4 years. I bought it off the original owner, through the dealership he bought it from new. ( I waited a long time to find a CRX this clean with one owner. This is my 4th CRX, unfortunately probably my last.) He traded it in on a new Accord. He had all the maintenance done at the dealership, and I have all the records from the first service at a little over 3000 miles. When I bought it it had some clear coming off the hood and rust in the rear quarters above the tires (normal CRX stuff). Within a month of arriving home I had a friend of mine begin removing the rusted metal and putting new metal in, not bondo or filler! He welded new metal in. Then he fixed as many of the dents and dings we could find. While sanding the hood he got it to hot and some high spots developed, so I had to find a new hood because I did not want any bondo in the car at all. I was not able to find a good hood, so I went with the best Carbon Fiber one I could find by VIS. Fit is perfect. While the body work was being done I put 2 layers of original dynamat on the floor and lower firewall, installed Kicker components, and a JVC cd player. I also put in a set of Eibach Sport springs lowering it modestly at 1.5" in the front and 1" in the rear, Tokiko 5 way adjustable struts (rides perfect). It also has a camber kit in the front so it aligns perfectly. Once this was done I had it sprayed the original Tahitian green. Perfect match! The sun roof works perfectly, as does the ac and the car gets 35 mpg all day long. It has a original lifetime warranty Honda exhaust, with the original chrome tips. The car has no leaks, not even the infamous tail light leak. The hvac control has a very slight crack, that I ensured would not go any farther by epoxying the back. The paint does now have a few imperfections from daily driving. At last count 5 small dings, 3 scratches, 1 door chip and a few scratches on the roof from snow. The interior is in great shape with the exception of the normal drivers seat bolster wear. I do have a set of S2000 seats that come with the car to remedy that! She sits on 2000 SI wheels right now. It still has the unused spare and jack in the back. This is what comes with the car - Original hood - HONDA oem front bumper still in box, unpainted - JDM arm rest - Acura integra low arm rest and center console - Spare radio/ hvac bezel cut to fit a double din unit - Spare center console that goes around the radio hvac bezel - OEM CRX SI 14" aluminum wheels with ok tires - OEM springs and struts - Honda CRX Pamphlet that the dealer had in the showroom. - All maintenance records NO TRADES AT ALL! So... off to the body shop it went, being wet sanded and cleared, should be done and back on tomorrow afternoon.
