1979 Chevy Silverado 4X4, 1500 series Warn lockout hubs, wide alloy wheels, automatic transmission, dual gas tanks, back sliding window, tow package, 2" by 2" reciever, 350 ci corvette engine, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, quadrajet carb, 33X12.5X15" big brute tires, power streering, power brakes. Full size eight foot bed, had a fifth wheel hitch at one time, has the four small bolt holes and one about 3" in diameter. This truck has almost no rust. There are no big dents, it has a great body for its age. The cab floor is solid, rocker panels are solid, under body is clean with no rust. No rust anywhere except on the back of the bed under the tailgate. Has colume shift for the automatic transmission and the floor shifter for the four wheel drive. This truck starts, runs and drives but it does not have much power. It needs a rebuild or another engine. (Carb is currently off being rebuilt.) My son drives it locally, the most he drove it was 26 miles, and up and down the hills of the back country. The California tittle is good but this truck has gone through five or six owners without being transfered. A lot of 4X4s in this area are like that. The plates are commercial, the fee's were paid last June 2009 and are due again. It will not pass the smog test the way it runs now, that is why it has changed hands so much. I am selling it for my son. Does not have air conditioning, the windshield has a crack which is not in the line of sight. If you have a good 350ci, this is a great truck to put it in. Or if you are or know a good mechanic, rebuild it. Buyer must make arrangements to pick it up.
