Unlike fossil fuels, it is constantly produced by the earth and can also me synthesized through chemical processes. Cyber_lot. The technology has been around for decades but until recently has been kept in the closet by big oil! It is one of the fastest growing alternative fuel sources and unlike biodiesel and ethanol (E85), is a viable replacement for petroleum. Within the next 10 years 90% of gov't fleets will be CNG and civilian population will follow over the next 20 yrs. Condition Drivetrain Engine starts right up and runs strong as you expect from a Honda with less miles. NO engine knocks, or smoking. Transmission does not shift into forward or reverse gears. It may be a simple electrical problem or require more extensive repair or replacement. Has a brand new radiator. Vehicle appears to have been regularly serviced as there are a lot of service records with the owners manual. These 1.7L VTEC engines are among the best engines and will easily last 400K+ miles with proper maintenance. Exterior Paint has all of its factory shine and glistens in the sun as you can see. Body is in very good condition. No major dents or rot. There are a few chips here and there, mostly on the the bumpers. Maybe a ding or two on the body. There are a few nicks on the door where a decal was removed. Was primary highway driven and it shows. Overall very nice condition for a fleet vehicle. Not dented up like city vehicles. The driver door lock cylinder is stuck and doesn't open/lock with the key. Passenger door opens fine. These get locked up from sitting (common on these locks with the laser keys). Probably needs to be removed and lubricated. Interior Overall very good condition. NO rips or tears in seats. Carpet is not ripped or torn. Dashboard is not cracked or discolored. Interior just need a light cleaning as we have not had it detailed. Check light is on which is related to the transmission issue. A/C blows cold. Wheels and Tires · Tires have about 80%+ tread remaining. Missing one hubcap. CNG System CNG system works. Has almost a full tank of CNG. Starts up and runs on CNG. Cylinder has been 3yr/36,000 mi safety inspected. Manufacturer certified until 2018. I do advise that long distance buyers use a transport service to move vehicle rather than drive due to the availability of CNG stations in some states and the sheer cost involved in driving cross country. This vehicle will need to be towed or removed by trailer as it does not go into gear and drive. As I recommend to all my customers, you should have your mechanic look over any newly purchased vehicle before extensive use. I have tried to list as many details about this vehicle as I can, including known defects. There may be deficiencies that I am not aware of so buyers are encouraged to inspect in person.
