Vehicle Detail
Very Rare Right hand drive Suzuki LJ10 (Brute) that is all original down to the tires. Imported into California, Arizona, and Nevada this little rig does it all the full sizers can do. It is powered by the original 2cyl 2 stroke air-cooled engine with a 4speed manual tranny with a full transfer case that includes 2wheel drive, 4WD low and high positions. I've owned it for 10 years now so its time to pass it on to the next person. It includes the softtop cover which is damaged but is great for a template for a upholster. It also has softtop doors which are in great condition. This rig includes a rare kerosene heater system which is not currently working but is complete and probably just needs tinkering. It has 2 bucket seats for the front and two long jump seats in the back that will need to be rebuilt as my dog chewed them up one night. It also has working wipers, lights, turn signals, hazzards, working speedo, working fuel guage, working horn, basically everything a full size vehicle has. It does have some dents, scrapes, and dings... it was used as intended for some fun four wheeling but always well cared for at the same time. Its virtually rust free besides some surface rust from paint scrapes/dents. The paint is original and I used some prewax cleaner on the hood and the shine came right back. The wheels are original as are the tires. It runs and drives great besides the brakes being a little soft. The parking brake will need to be repaired, the cable broke free from the handle. It has a separate 2 stroke oil container under the hood and is fed through the oil injection system so no need to premix. I just put a new battery in her and starting is a breeze. She loves to run. A lot of wheelers would like to stuff some samari running gear beneath it but I love the way it is. If you want a Samari then buy one instead, keep this unique vehicle original! It gets a ton of attention especially when its in action. It will blow you away as this is not a toy, it will do some serious wheeling if you want to. I've pulled out countless toyotas, jeeps, and everything else thats out there. It always earns its well deserved respect from other wheelers. And the cool thing about it is if you do get hung up or stuck, it only takes a couple people to lift it out and you're on your way. Its a blast! I've taken it on numerous trips over the years and I really hate to sell it but I have to move and don't have room for it. Its not designed for crusing the streets as the top speed is around 35mph. So I use the towbar to take it to my destination. Although it is fun to watch peoples expressions when they see me pull up to the grocery store in it. It has that distinct 2stroke sound that makes people ask what is it? Finding parts has never been an issue because I've never needed any, besides a battery. I just keep it tuned, clean, and it just keep going and going. But if you ever did need parts there is a LJ10 club that you can find online that is solely dedicated to these rigs and you can find anything through them. Title is clean and in hand. The registration was due January, but I'm lazy about that and have never registered it until late spring anyway when I started using it again. Its cheap, even here in California for the Reg. so it wasn't a concern. Happy Bidding, and good luck!
