1956 210 four door convertible rat rod. Chevrolet never made a 4 door drop top. This four door has had the top cut off and and the door pillars strengthened. THERE IS NO TOP FOR THIS CAR! SUNSHINE DRIVING ONLY!! 43000 miles on odometer. Has a 265 V8 56 date code 066879F56F standard bore standard bearings. The engine was removed and new bearings, gaskets, oil pump, cam, lifters, rings and a hone job. The cylinders had very little ridge indicating low miles. Reassembled and installed with a new water pump and fuel pump. New wires and plugs with stock distributor. Stock 2 barrel carb rebuilt with a new fuel tank and sender. Two new brake cylinders all new shoes and new rubber lines installed with a rebuilt master cylinder. Dual exhaust with glass packs run all the way out to under the rear bumper. Cast iron powerglide shifts fine, no problems. The floor edges have had metal replaced where the door seals leaked. There is a rust hole in the rocker panel and and some rust thru in the rear door jambs. Trunk has no rust thru and the frame has only some surface rust and is in great condition. Very little bondo in this car mainly in the eyebrows. Rear quarters had metal welded in. This is a rat rod not a show car, there are dings and scratches in places and its not supposed to be perfect. Runs great, stops fine, sounds nice and gets lots of attention. Painted dark satin blue with the hood and trunk lid sanded in the bare metal (like engine turning) and then clear coated. There are no dents in the hood or trunk lid they are all original chevy metal as the effect wouldn’t work with any filler. Original interior except for the carpet and all lights work. The door panels have some separating and need a little work. The horns don’t work and it need a heater core. Need room in the garage and its time to get to the next project. Thanks for looking.
