Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is a 1983 I-Mark diesel sedan w/ 5speed transmission. I bought this a while back because I like these cars and I hadn't had one in a while. However, I recently bought a coupe, and I have decided to concentrate strictly on those. As with all my auctions, I will try my best to give a thorough description so there are no surprises for the winning bidder. I have two detailed videos of this car uploaded to my Youtube page-www.youtube.com/kjm1983. Please feel free to view them to help you learn more about this item. Mechanically, this Isuzu is in good condition. It has a few old-car issues which I will describe shortly. The engine starts and runs well. There are no cooling problems whatsoever, and not a drop of oil leakage. Oil consumption is also nil. The timing and drive belts are recent along with the battery and glow plugs. PLEASE NOTE: The injection pump has a small leak from the bottom. It is enough to be able to smell and sometimes see it, but hasn't really affected mileage or performance. The transmission, clutch, etc work well. The front end is tight. There is factory air conditioning, which is INOP.Heater works well as do all the accessories. Cosmetically, this I-Mark shows its age, but is very solid. The paint shows fading on the top surfaces and the left rear door appears to have been cheaply repaired at some point. All doors and windows work fine. Rust is a major issue with older Isuzu's, and fortunately this one has very little. There are a few surface rust spots confined mainly to the doors. No rot anywhere on the car that I can detect. Inside is average. Everything is there and unbroken. The seats are quite nice, but the carpet is no better than fair at best. Most people that view this auction are already familiar with these cars, so my description is mostly details about a known quantity. I've had 4 of them myself. This will be a great car for someone who is a fan of them. TWO THINGS THAT ARE IMPORTANT: 1. The speedo cable broke at some point in the past, so I am selling this True Miles Unknown. The odometer currently reads about 63,000 miles. Having had several, it definately does not drive like a high-mile car, but I cannot estimate it's true mileage. 2. I bought this car in Georgia, which does not title vehicles older than model year 1986. However, I have registered it with my DMV and I estimate to have title in hand about July 1. IF THAT IS A PROBLEM, please do not bid unless you talk with me first. I will need a $250 deposit via USPS money order no later than 7 days after auction end, with pickup in a reasonable timeframe. Please ask any questions you wish, other than lowball offers. To answer can you drive it home.....YES. I have been driving this each and every day in the humid heat and it's performed perfectly. This is a no-reserve auction, so bid to win. Thanks, and good luck!
