Vehicle Detail
Features include: Leather seats, v6 engine, 4 speed automatic transmission, dual lighted vanity mirrors on visors, digital compass, 16" alloy wheels, 2 new Continental Contitrac tires and 2 almost new ones(the same model tires that came with the car new), trip computer, tire pressure monitoring system, split folding rear bench seats, dual airbags, privacy glass, power mirrors, overhead console, 4 wheel ABS brakes, AM FM satellite radio, cassette, 6 cd changer in dash, center console with storage, dusk sensing on and off headlights, fog lights, MP3 jack, electrochromatic rear view mirror, intermittent wipers, power windows, power doorlocks, childproof locks, audiophile stereo system, rear window defrost, auxiliary power outlet, leather steering wheel, front wheel drive, passenger airbag on/off, heated front seats, keyless remote, driver door keypad entry, power driver seat, rear window opens separate from door, tilt wheel, ac, roof rack, running boards, towing system, cruise control in the steering wheel. The car has had a front end collision that was not major. The total cost to fix it was $2,500. It has a new front bumper, headlights and front hood and quarter panels. The airbags were not deployed. The insurance company called it salvage anyway. The car looks and drives perfectly and you cannot tell it has ever had any damage. The paint job is excellent. The exterior is excellent with no scratches or dents to even show in a picture. The interior is also excellent with no wear. Only 34,283 miles on it so it would still be under factory warrantee if not for the damage. The car was originally purchased July 14, 2007 so it is 2 years 10 months old. Kelly Blue Book private party sale value on this car with this mileage if not for the salvage title is $18,205. If you search on Ebay for the other 2007 Escape Limited models for sale they are priced at $18,691, $17,990 and $15,694 and two of them have higher miles. This is the third salvage car I have owned and they have all been great cars for me. You save about 40% off what the car would otherwise cost. If you buy one that does not have major damage like frame being damaged or flood damage you can save a lot. Insurance companies tend to classify cars salvage now even with low damage such as this one. Car has just been aligned also and the results of the alignment are included. Everything on the car works perfectly and the car cruises at 80 mph very nicely. Look at my feedback and you will find over 10 years and 270 transactions with all of them 100% positive. Buy this car with confidence. If it is not what I describe it to be when you pick it up I will refund your money. I bought it a few months ago planning to keep it a few years but a 2006 Toyota Solara convertible came up for sale in my neighborhood in an estate sale and I bought it. You can see it in the back of the pictures. Now we have five cars and the driveway only holds three so I have to sell something. My wife and teenagers are keeping their cars so the Escape goes. If you have any questions about the car or would like to come inspect and drive it please email me or call me at 858-366-5336. I am retired and home most of the time. I had the car inspected by a car repair body shop yesterday at the request of an ebay member. The report is available to be emailed. You may contact me by email or phone to get the complete details. The only thing they found that can be an issue is that the air conditioning core that sits behind the front bumper was not replaced. It has some of the air grill metal openings bent from the impact to the bumper. The air conditioning works fine now and I had it on all day yesterday. However, they said it could fail in the future and recommended replacing the core for $250. Since it is unknown if it will fail I will wait to replace it when that happens if I keep the car. I have reduced the price by $500 to allow a buyer to replace it if they want to do so when they get the car. The inspection will give you more confidence in the condition of the car. This lower price is now almost half the middle Kelly Blue Book value and the price the other 2007 Escape Limiteds are priced at on Ebay.
