Up for auction is this fantastic 1976 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow, with long wheel base. This car was manufactured from 1965 -1977, the most successful model ever produced. During this thirteen year period, only 2776 long wheelbase models were produced, approx. 214 per year. These automobiles were completely hand-built, throughout. Here is a wonderful opportunity to own one of the few still on the road. This two-tone burgundy and tan model with tan leather and red leather piping seats and interior is in 100% original condition. Its condition is very good. The paint is still good, with some rough areas The vinyl roof needs work. It has come loose around the seam and pulled away (see two photos). It would probably be best, if replaced. It is equipped with working power windows, factory AC, 8-way power seats, power locks, and 8 track stereo player. The chrome is beautiful, as is the burr walnut dashboard. Unforunately, some of the wood along the door rim has some finish loss and has some damage. I have owned this wonderful car for approx. eight years. I bought it from a friend, who bought it from someone in California. It has been garaged the entire time during my ownership, as well as by the previous owner. I have just had the car serviced and have had the fuel line replaced. It has had its regular lube and has just passed inspection. It is a left hand-drive, produced for the American market. It will come with a set of 4 DVD's, which provide an in depth description about repairs to every part of this Rolls. Also, included is a copy of the original handbook. I have totally enjoyed owing and driving this amazingly smooth, solid show stopper Rolls Royce. No matter where you drive people stop you and ask about it. Everyone tells you how beautiful they think it is. It will hold it's value, and, in all liklihood, from what I have read, it's value will increase. You cannot go wrong! REDUCED SIGNIFICANTLY!
