Here is a very nice 1957 Oldsmobile Super Eighty Eight 2 Door Hardtop with 74,000 miles. This car belonged to my now deceased 83 year old brother. He took this car to many car shows around the Midwest and won many 1st place trophies. He had the car body redone about 15 years ago by a professional body shop in Minnesota and the interior was done by Boss Interiors in Iowa. It is equipped with power steering, power brakes, power seat, white wall tires and the J2 setup with batwing oil bath air cleaner. The interior has been redone in the original material with a new headliner, new carpet, new trunk liner and mat. The dash pad was also redone and looks very nice. The heater works very well. The engine is a standard 371 ci. V8 with the J2 three 2 barrel carburetor set up added on. Engine and transmission were redone 10 years ago with about 6,000 miles on it. The exhaust was new at that time also and sounds real good. This car is not a perfect show car but will hold it's own in the average car show anywhere. It is a very nice running and driving car. I believe this car could be safely driven anywhere across the country. As far as I know the only thing it may need is the center carburetor runs over just a little when it is first shut off. The bumpers and chrome are in nice condition and shiny. The stainless steel side trim is all straight and shiny. More pictures available if needed.
