Vehicle Detail

This Volkswagen was purchased in Charlotte, NC and I had the vehicle towed to Kentucky for a restoration. The pictures show the a small step in the engine rebuild process and the vehicle with the top off ready to install, air up the tires and hit the pavement. Sanded to base metal Minor Body work around top Primed Painted to near original Brown 2 coats of paint Engine removed and split Heads dissassembled and inspected One replacement rebuilt head AVP worldwide in California New flywheel seal, oil breather seal, crank main seal, oil pickup tube seal, drain seal copper, distributor seal, push rod seals, case halves permatex seal, new vibration dampers installed, new seal on cam, new engine tin seal, new throttle body seal New flywheel shims and endplay adjusted appropriately New EGR New Air Flow Meter (1 extra included) New (used because Bosch don't make these now/ correct) distributor (not a 009) (one extra distributor included dual vacuum appropriate for VW) Pertronix electronic ignition installed (have 3 sets of points, 3 condensors, and two extra coils included) New pertonix flamethrower coil New Bosch FI kombi relay replaced sand blasted and painted intake pipes replaced (used) Porsche air relay fan extra injectors included and wiring harness for cal model bus (this is a federal) new fuel lines new starter new vacuum lines lifters were bled down cleaned and reassembled New main bearings New cam bearings new rod bearings New pistons and cylinders (.94 mm) replaced thermostat replaced old heat exchangers engine painted and exhaust parts painted high temp replaced gas guage (still works 50% or greater of the time driving and this leads me to believe I should have removed the sending unit in the tank and cleaned it's contacts) Interior was stripped completely and cleaned individually in detail, floor is very solid and now also very clean. New hardwood floor installed All seat material stripped and foam wrapped in plastic then I washed the material and covered the seats back up original (to save the foam : ) ) Has sink NEW go westy sink pump and new lines Has refridgerator (working) Has Stove (working with new propane lines and fittings) Replaced front windshield and rear driver side glass New windshield seal, new driver side rear glass seal, and new rear cargo window seal. I think that is a close summary of the bulk of work into this Westfalia, I'm sure that a part or two has escaped this listing and I apologize. The VW runs and drives great, however it is going to need a new driver side tie rod soon (a cheap fix). I'm listing the VW because my g/f wants me driving a faster vehicle, she simply will not ride anywhere with me in my Westy; I'm a student and moved to a new place so I can't really go out and buy/insure a second vehicle, I'm selling the Westfalia after all the time and money I invested restoring the westfalia : ( Thanks for reading my ad and I could provide more pictures in the future if you contact me. I've been out of town and not had the time to take pictures. The vehicle is in great condition and I would be happy to discuss any questions through email or by phone.
