My dad retired, bought some property abroad, departed, and asked me to sell this 450SL for him... * He bought the car in 1999 and has driven it about once a month on the weekends since then, with a couple of weekend trips to So. Cal. * It runs well and regularly passes the California Emissions Inspection. * As far and we know, the car was originally purchased about 10 miles away in Mountain View California and has spent it's entire life here in California - so rust is not an issue whatsoever. * Some of the weatherstripping has deteriorated, the turn signal lever likes to pop back into the neutral (off) position and there is some play in the steering. Aside from that, everything in the car works (including the AC), and it's without a doubt worlds better than most 33 year old cars out there.
