Original North Carolina body was never rusted, original (Code 82 Carmine Red) repaint by original owner and $20,000+ full professional mechanical and interior restoration make this an awsome turn-key show, drive or investment quality car. The car has been painstakingly rebuilt and maintained by Specialty Sports Cars in Columbus, OH, including a full engine rebuild less than 3000 miles ago. Many dollars invested in the highest quality parts and professional labor for restoration and maintenance. Have a large file of receipts totalling well over $20,000 which was spent on an already fantastic clean original. No known issues at present, although if you are a serious buyer you will realize that this is a 38 year British car. How many owners? 3 Mileage accurate? Yes. Mileage is accurate and original and supported by vehicle condition and title designation. Extent of engine restoration? Complete removal and rebuild. Pistons, main bearings, cam, clutch, etc., etc. How many tops? Original top was replaced with current top in 2006. Is this the original color for this vehicle? Yes. Color is Carmine Red and was repainted prior to 2004. Original radio? Not original, but does work. Accident history? No evidence or record of any accident history. Interior is new? Yes, interior trim, seats and carpet have been replace in the last 4 years. Is the wood dash original? Yes. Brand and Condition of Tires? Tires are Michelin Redline purchased 4 years and 4000 miles ago at a cost of over $900.
