Vehicle Detail
Vehicle Description This 911 SC Targa 3.0L was owned by a Porsche enthusiast who put a lot of TLC into this classic. I have owned the car for 5 years and have enjoyed it immensely. The car was garaged in early fall before first snow fall and kept in storage until the spring. I had the motor completely rebuilt by a professional Porsche mechanic at 97,202 miles. At the same time the suspension was replaced with 4 new struts, a new front stabilizer bar and new bushings The Car has: · Momo steering wheel · 1992 Carrera 18" alloys · Power windows · Fog lamps · Full leather interior · Alpine stereo with 3 disc CD changer and Alpine amp. · Whale tail · Air conditioning. (does not work) · Targa top. ( solid frame ripped top) Fiberglass hard top Cabriolet top Full Front Bra and mirror covers Porsche Air compressor Vehicle condition: Like most Porsches of this era there is a small amount of oil that drips out of the rear I am told that there is a gasket that will correct this issue but based on the few drips I waited until the next time I serviced the car. The car starts well and runs well and is a joy to drive. The car looks great the paint shines up well. The interior is very clean; all switches and gauges are in place. The door panels are intact and look good. The rear jump seats look great. Both front seats have no tears or cracks but the seams are starting to pull on the driver’s side. There are 2 surface rust spots on the car one in the passenger door jam and the other on the driver side front head light (see pic’s) I find myself watching the car sitting on a trickle charger in the garage for more time in the last 18 months than being driven. Even then most of its drive time has been starting it monthly and running it around the neighborhood. The car has a low reserve and is priced to sell well below the retail value.
