I bought this car from a computer genius. Except he wasn’t a computer genius, he was a plastics genius. Man, this guy had some stories. He had talked to Bill Gates, he had sold a beer for $100, he would rather do old cars, or excuse me, old trucks than what he was up to which was an amazing operation. The $100 beer part insured I wouldn’t be getting a killer deal. I mean, who gets a killer deal from a guy that sells $100 beers? None the less I chipped a couple hundred bucks off or in his terms a couple beers. This wagon’s got a lot going for it. It’s never been hit. There is no bondo on this car. The floors however are pretty Fred Flintstone. Not too bad, but I coined a new phrase, “I would rather have my body guy working on my floors, than on my body.” Ya dig? What I am trying to say is this wagon has a really good body. The engine and tranny are long gone, but I got a couple of those hanging out. It’s got the pedals and it used to be shift on the tree. The glass is in great shape but there are a couple bb gun looking things on the windshield. This wagon made some of my friends smile and some of them mad because they all wanted it. Everybody loves a ’57 Chevy. ’57 Chevy’s are the best!
