Up for bidding is this 1958 Thunderbird Coupe with Factory Air conditioning, Power drivers seat, 300 HP, 352 cubic inch. V8. According to the data plate, the build date was august 24, 1958. The car has a 3.10:1 rear axle ratio and a 3 speed cruise-o-matic transmission. Paint code is 'A', which is Black (no two-tone). All the parts appear to be present except for the A/C compressor, radio and hub caps. In the trunk are the following parts: Air cleaner, valve covers, rocker arms, distributor, fuel pump, water pump, generator, radiator and expansion tank. The floor pan seems to be in good condition with very little rust. There is a rust through spot on the right rear panel between rear window and trunk (picture added). The rockers appear to be fine. The hood will need to be replaced as this one is rusted through, creased and warped. There is sheet metal damage on rear of left rear fender ( picture included). It is repairable, however the two diecast fender extension pieces are damaged. I have included 2 used replacement pieces from another car that are in great condition. The glass is all in good condition. I am including brand new copies of the factory service manual and the factory air conditioning manual (picture included). To sum it all up, this is a good restorable platform to start with. After it's been restored, you will have a fairly rare, air conditioned, beautiful 1958 Thunderbird with that wild Ford Design Styling and 300 horsepower under the hood. The car is located 25 miles south of Klamath Falls, Oregon in Dorris California. Buyer will be responsible for picking up car or making arrangements to have the car picked up and delivered.
