1973 VW Super Beetle Mostly Factory with some upgrades, FAST RUNNER!! 152,520 original miles. Yellow out of factory, then light blue now splotchy red RIMS 5 rims - 1 freshly painted silver, 1 sandblasted, other 3 need sandblasting and finishing STUDS All stud nuts original in good condition, need paint TIRES 4 tires - All in very good condition with plenty of tread left CAR COVER Comes with full fitted grey all weather car cover JACK STAND Full functioning original jack stand with tool FRONT SEATS Still work but need lots of attention REAR SEATS Very good condition SEAT BELTS OEM and still work, a little sluggish, need some TLC CARPET There is no carpet FLOOR PANS Needs new floor pans BATTERY TRAY Welded a new 1 in Summer '09 SOUND DEADENING MATERIAL Needs it throughout car FRONT DOOR PANELS Needs front door panels REAR DOOR PANELS OK condition SUN VISORS & CLIPS Good condition REAR VIEW MIRRORS Both inside and out in good condition DASH Needs new dash pad or re-placement STEERING WHEEL GRANT GT Steering wheel in excellent condition, needs new cancelling ring HORN Does not work because of the cancelling ring. horn is there and ready for proper connection BRAKES New stainless steel lines put in Fall '09 underneath car. EMPI Shifter with lock-out for reverse EMPI PERFORMANCE PIPE Needs installation (all hardware included) NEW PICT 3 aftermarket carb Summer '09 NEW COIL New Bosch coil, New EMPI Distributor see thru cap, new rotor, points, condenser Summer '09 Engine runs very strong, starts up everyday with no problems, small leak (about a qt. of oil per 125 miles) Car is ready for a complete restoration. I've done alot of the dirty work All windows are OEM, NOS Struts/Shocks need install (struts not pictured) 2 back qtr. windows need install and 1 rubber, Front windshield and back window need new rubber BODY Needs lots of attention in many areas, look at pics carefully Have registration information since Claremont, CA 07/19/2002. All receipts after August 2007 Car ran 90 MPH last Fall '09 and shut down no problem ready for some more.......... Testing all rear lights on Saturday May 29th, 2010. Already mounted rear OEM factory bulb holder Made in Germany. Brazilian tail light bulb holders didn't work out as well as original. Saved the Brazilian lenses and retro- fitted to OEM. Painted the inside of the right tail light lens a chrome yellow to restore the turn signal color.On May-29-10 at 12:20:08 PDT, seller added the following information: Hello bidders, Tail lights and turn signals are now working. I could not check the brake lights, back-up lights, should be working. All wires to bulb holders are correctly attached. Checking out 1 headlight. It is not working.
