Up for auction is 2004 Ford E-450 van body 6.0L Powerstroke Diesel Minibus. This is a one owner fleet vehicle and has been well maintained since new. This has seating for 12 plus 3 wheelchairs. This is fully handicapped equipped with a power wheelchairs lift. Features a Braun Millennium Series chair lift. Don't waste your time with gasoline buses. These 6.0L diesels get excellent fuel economy and easily last 500k+ miles. The possibilities are endless with this vehicle. From moneymaker to RV/mobile home, the skies the limit. Runs exactly like a diesel should and has no apparent leaks (see pic). The underside of engine is very dry and oil free as you can see. Runs like it has a fraction of the mileage. This was a well maintained vehicle and had excellent servicing since new. You can tell just by driving it. Transmission shifts into and through all gears smoothly as it should. Has smooth acceleration and cruises nicely on the highway. Has tight cornering and comfortable ride. Exterior Paint has its original factory shine. The vinyl decal stripes easily peel off and repainting is NOT required. There is black latex paint that was rolled over a few small spots where decals are. It comes off very easily with paint thinner. There are some blemishes here and there as well as some light surface oxidation the on lower right side of the bus body. The right front fender has some dents near the mirror. Body is otherwise straight with no serious rot or major dents. Keep in mind this was a fleet vehicle and not mint and may require some external reconditioning. All doors open and latch. Interior Overall very good condition. NO rips or tears in seats. Dashboard is not cracked or discolored. Floors are not worn and feel very solid. Tie down straps are wheelchairs are included. Wheelchair lift is fully functional. It extends, retracts, goes up and down. Was tested with the weight of two adults and lifted perfectly. Features dual zone climate control. Has rear stand alone Carrier brand A/C unit as well. Seating for 12 plus 1 wheelchair or 3 wheelchairs plus 8 seats. The two left side benches can be folded up to accommodate wheelchairs (very nice feature). The dashboard AC is not blowing cold and may need to be recharged. Has AM/FM cassette radio. Has full cabin wall mounted illumination as a spotlight over the wheelchair lift. Wheels and Tires · Tires have about 80%+ tread remaining on front and about 80% on the rears. As I recommend to all my customers, you should have your mechanic look over any newly purchased vehicle before extensive use. I have tried to list as many details about this vehicle as I can, including known defects. This is a commercial vehicle and there may be deficiencies that I am not aware of so buyers are encouraged to inspect in person.
