Here we have up for a sale a nice little 250 Nighthawk. This bike was bought new by a Community college here in Iowa and used for teaching new riders. The reason we're disclosing this is because it has a few dings here and there but overall is still a nice little bike. It runs and starts great. It has good tires on it and the reason for selling is the owner said she feels she's ready to move up to a bigger bike. Otherwise she said she would have kept it because it runs so good and is reliable. She's driven it back and forth between Des Moines, Ia. and Emmetsburg, Ia. and this is about 125 miles and it made the trip easily. This bike gets great gas mileage as well and would be very reliable and inexpensive to drive this summer when gas reaches over $3.00 a gallon. It has a small dent in the gas tank, a crack in the rear fender that's been repaired, a pencil sized hole in the rear of the seat that's been repaired once but could use some attention again. It has a few scuffs and scratches here and there but overall is still nice and we just want to disclose that. It's not perfect but it is 15 years old too. I've tried to take pictures of all the dings. This bike is sold as is/where is. It is for sale locally and the auction could end at any time unannounced.
