Volvo has a real reputation for building some of the safest and most reliable vehicles on the road and this one is no exception. This Volvo is truly masterpiece in design, engineering and quality. This car is one owner vehicle. Lots and lots of maintaince was done in order to keep this car running at its best. I just completed expensive engine job in order for this car to run perfect. The items which were serviced are: head gasket, valve cover gasket, timing belt, oil change , light bulb service, suspension parts and more!!! I even showed a pictures of underneath a vehicle. Once again, lots of work was done by the shop recently and before. Interior of the car is literally in new condition. The seats are not torn. Dashboard in not cracked anywhere. Cockpit is not damaged. Sealing is not haging down. It has a newer CD player with newer speakers installed. The car has air conditioning, the air compressor does kick in. The heat works perfect. The seats and mirrors are also heated for the colder climates as it was originated. The tires are good with plenty thread left. The clutch is great! The paint has some fadings as I showed in the pictures. There is no rust on the vehicle! The sunroof mechanism does work but the sunroof does not open fully. It is very negligible problem and I might be able to fix it after the price for this car will get reasonable. The milage on the vehicle is correct!!! The milage was not recorded properly by someone and the report showed rolleback. Once again, the miles on the car are correct. Also, I have new rear left tail light and many more new parts from the one original owner. He really cared for his vehicle and it shows. The only reason he traded his car in is that the initial stage of head gasket problem started to appear. Well, we took care of this problem and made this car in excellent mechanical shape. Once again, a lot of work, hours and effort was performed on this classic and one of the best cars ever produced. Volvo. For life. Here is some history regarding this particular model: "In Sweden the 240 was popular as a service vehicle among many companies and government agencies. It was also popular as base for ambulances, hearses, limousines and as police cars. Many 240s were used by the former state owned monopolies such as the electric company Vattenfall, telecom company Televerket and the postal service Posten. Televerket had their vehicles ordered in a special orange paint. They also used the four speed M45 transmission well after it was discontinued on 240s offered to the public, and a Limited-slip differential. The latter option was also installed in 240s ordered by the Swedish armed forces. Posten had their cars in yellow and they were equipped with automatic transmission. On the contrary to normal vehicles in Sweden these were right-hand drive. Still 17 years after the production ended, the 240 is popular among various handymen such as carpenters and electricians." Up for auction is a great example 1992 volvo 240 Sedan in good condition. Volvo has a real reputation for building some of the safest and most reliable vehicles on the road and this one is no exception. This Volvo is truly masterpiece in design, engineering and quality.
This car is one owner vehicle. Lots and lots of maintaince was done in order to keep this car running at its best. I just completed expensive engine job in order for this car to run perfect. The items which were serviced are: head gasket, valve cover gasket, timing belt, oil change , light bulb service, suspension parts and more!!! I even showed a pictures of underneath a vehicle. Once again, lots of work was done by the shop recently and before.
Interior of the car is literally in new condition. The seats are not torn. Dashboard in not cracked anywhere. Cockpit is not damaged. Sealing is not haging down. It has a newer CD player with newer speakers installed.
The car has air conditioning, the air compressor does kick in. The heat works perfect. The seats and mirrors are also heated for the colder climates as it was originated. The tires are good with plenty thread left.
The clutch is great!
The paint has some fadings as I showed in the pictures. There is no rust on the vehicle! The sunroof mechanism does work but the sunroof does not open fully. It is very negligible problem and I might be able to fix it after the price for this car will get reasonable. The milage on the vehicle is correct!!! The milage was not recorded properly by someone and the report showed rolleback. Once again, the miles on the car are correct. Also, I have new rear left tail light and many more new parts from the one original owner. He really cared for his vehicle and it shows. The only reason he traded his car in is that the initial stage of head gasket problem started to appear. Well, we took care of this problem and made this car in excellent mechanical shape. Once again, a lot of work, hours and effort was performed on this classic and one of the best cars ever produced.

"In Sweden the 240 was popular as a service vehicle among many companies and government agencies. It was also popular as base for ambulances, hearses, limousines and as police cars. Many 240s were used by the former state owned monopolies such as the electric company Vattenfall, telecom company Televerket and the postal service Posten. Televerket had their vehicles ordered in a special orange paint. They also used the four speed M45 transmission well after it was discontinued on 240s offered to the public, and a Limited-slip differential. The latter option was also installed in 240s ordered by the Swedish armed forces. Posten had their cars in yellow and they were equipped with automatic transmission. On the contrary to normal vehicles in Sweden these were right-hand drive. Still 17 years after the production ended, the 240 is popular among various handymen such as carpenters and electricians."
