Here is a rare piece of auto history in immaculate condidtion. Perhaps your grandparents drove it only on Sundays???? The exterior, interior all in like new condition. The paint still has its luster, interior is totally clean. It has the 440 engine, 727 HD tranny all professionally rebuilt, new Edlebrock carb, new air, blows cold. All guages work, except odometor stopped when motor was rebuilt at 140,000 miles. Speedometer works. I was told all elec window motors were replaced with new. They all work as they should as well as elec seats. I took this car in trade for another I had, and just don't have room for this car or I'd be keeping it. I wouldn't hesitate driving this car anywhere in the country. I have two thick file folders of receipts and history of the car I haven't gone thru, but will go with the car. The only attention the car needs is a new vinyl top...but there are no rust issues and I have the chrome for front and rear windows. This is your chance to own a bit of auto history back when they put metal and quality in the cars. The car is for sale locally so may go off auction at anytime. On May-16-10 at 11:42:15 PDT, seller added the following information: I was just going thru the receipts of work done to car. There's easily 8000$ of new work under the hood. One receipt alone for the Edlebrock carb and related work, custom duel exhaust from headers, etc-----3028.86 $, Midas muffler exhaust system, over 500$, over 500$ on air cond, another 500$, here and another 500$ there, new water pump, fuel pump. master cyl, brakework, elec ignition, all up in the hundreds of dollars. I'm ashamed to be asking so little for the car. Someone is going to get one heck of a good deal!!!!! With a new vinyl top this will be a show car in any car show........ I've only had it a clpe days and haven't had time to go over everything, but the more I go thru the files, the more impressed I am with the car.
