Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 1993 Pontiac SSE Bonneville I purchased this vehicle 12/20/2001 for my daughter. She drove it untill last month, she purchased a new Chevrolet. This is still a head turner, There is something about a Forest green SSE Bonneville and Tan leather interior with a sunroof open thats hot, especially with the gold factory wheels , she is a great car, I have always used Mobile one oil and kept regular maintenence up on her. The external color is forest green, the interior is tan color , it is leather interior. The vehicle has a sunroof, 6 way driver and passenger seats which operate as they are supposed to. The dash is neat, it has a vehicle control center and a compass indicator, If anything is wrong the control center tells you immediately. It has self leveling rear shocks, Built in air compressor for flat tires or such built in trunk. Electric antenna working properly. All glass in good condition and power windows operate properly. I installed a factory radio with CD player so the steering wheel controls for radio do not operate it now. If you want them to work you will have to reinstall a Cassett radio back in it. I listen to CDs now mostly. Sterio works great. Car has Heads up display , this displays the speed on the windshield while driving , it works great and is sorta neat. A SSE has all the bells and whistles a SSEI has except it not a turbo, which saves on insurance costs. The Car has 4 brand new tires, Yokohama on front and Brigstone on rear, the front tires still have the red dot on them 100 miles or so since installed, the rear have 3000 miles on them. Airconditioning blows cold, and heater operates as it should, Automatic HVAC controls work as they should. The engine is quiet and runs perfectly, the transmission shifts and operates as it should, the converter clutch in trans operates perfectly. The car starts great and glides down the road fine. I wouldnt be afraid to drive it to florida tomorrow. Powertrain is in great shape. I installed the front tires new recently, New front Brake calipers and Pads at same time Parts I have installed recently, 4 New Tires, Brake calipers, Stabilizer links front, rear ball joints, fronts were ok. New ignition module, passenger door window motor new. New Instrument Cluster, the old one quit working, So I had a used one installed. New Battery and generator. New Headlamp modules, old ones were cracked. Rear brakes serviced 6 months ago. New front wheel bearings installed 2 years ago. New Fuel pump in Tank and sending unit 3 years ago. Things that need attention, 1. Rear bumper cover needs repainting, paint peeling, 2. ABS inop, never missed it, my mechanic told me the right front wheel speed sensor is bad, needs replacing. I never had it repaired again, didnt miss it. The right rear door area of the rear quarter inside seam has rust starting, needs some minor repair before it gets bad, you cant see it from the outside but I know it is there. When the gas tank is filled up all the way, the gauge goes to Empty untill I drive for approx 10 miles, my mechanic said its a fault of the new gas gauge, I just expect it when I fill up and drive a few miles then it starts working again, Or if you dont fill it up all the way it works fine. Drivers seat has a few worn thru spots on left outer side, I was told there were some seat controls mounted under the material and GM did not pad it properly so leather wore. I received a estimate from Flint auto appolstery in Flint michigan 6 months ago . They said they could replace the panel and pad it correctly for $100.00 See Pics. I have new key fobs for vehicle although they will need to be programmed, the old ones just gave up the ghost. I have to open trunk with key for some reason button on drivers panel stopped working, I really hate to part with this car, its been a winner and reliable, But have too many vehicles now and this one has to go. I hope who ever buys it treats it well. She is a great car, with just a little TLC could be a show car.
